Mwiba Wildlife Reserve
Mwiba Wildlife Reserve is a privately managed reserve bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area .It was established with the aim of improving conservation efforts and expanding the wildlife viewing areas to the south of Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti wildebeest migration reaches into this area when at its southernmost point between December and April. The area is characterized by rolling hills, kopjes, thickets, waterholes and (dry) rivers where pools form that contain water year round. The constant supply of water acts as a magnet for wildlife in the dry season when southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro conservation areas dry out.
Located in the Mwiba wildlife reserve, the Lodge is composed of 8 suites which all have interior design that portrays an elegant combination of traditional and modern elements.
From the fine finish tanned leather furniture, to the linen which covers the wooden sofas with fine marquetry details, to the lamps which provide a warm copper-coloured glow, the ambience exudes a sense of sophisticated indulgence.
